MARCADORx — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how MARCADORx (“the App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our mobile application and related services. By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who we are

MARCADORx is a football scores and match information application. The data controller is the developer listed on the Google Play store listing. For privacy requests, contact marcadorx.support@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Account and authentication

• Google Sign-In: account ID, email, and display name as provided by Google.
• Guest sign-in: a technical Firebase anonymous user ID to sync preferences and game data.

Content you provide

• Match predictions (1X2), favourite leagues/teams, and app settings (language, appearance).

Device and technical data

• Device type, OS version, app version, and diagnostic data needed to run and improve the App.
• Push notification tokens if you enable notifications.

Football data

Fixtures, results, and statistics from third-party sports data providers (e.g. API-FOOTBALL / API-Sports). These are generally not personal data.

3. How we use your information

• Provide scores, match details, predictions, leaderboards, and cloud sync.
• Authenticate you and protect accounts.
• Send push notifications if you allow them.
• Comply with law and improve the App.

We do not sell your personal data to data brokers. The App does not show advertisements.

4. Who we share data with

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore).
• Google Sign-In.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications.
• API-FOOTBALL / API-Sports for football data.

Data may be processed in countries where these providers operate, with appropriate safeguards where required.

5. Retention

We keep data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion as described below.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact marcadorx.support@gmail.com. We may verify your identity before processing requests.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
